Obsessionail

Ok so I have quite a collection of nail polish... well actually, I must admit I'm a nail polish addict.  I'm obsessed with the beautiful little glass bottles containing a unique shade of lacquer soon to make my nails all pretty. When a pot of varnish catches my eye in the store I can't help but get all giddy with excitement at the prospect of it coming home to my collection. I also find giving myself a manicure to be very calming and almost therapeutic. It's an hour or so of my day where I just relax and paint my nails pretty colours while listening to my favourite music.While I admit that my collection is a tad excessive, I will continue to collect, wear and enjoy nail polish for as long as I love it! Life's too short to deny yourself pretty nails.


This was just a little confession post about my addiction, in fact I must confess that over the past 2 days I have bought 12 bottles of nail polish... oops! I can't say no to a good sale, so when I saw a crazy deal on some OPI shatter nail polish I did the right thing which was to buy all 7 colours!
I also bought 4 colours from the Sally Hansen sugar coat collection. Obviously I have a thing for textures at the moment, but the fantastic sales also made my purchases necessary.

The Beginner's Blogpost

Happy New Year!

Goodbye 2013, hello 2014! Ready to venture into new adventures and discover what is beyond the horizon in this new chapter of my life.

So here is a little introduction for the Beginner's Blogpost:

Lately I have been doing a lot of things like re-decorating, watching movies, shopping, catching up with friends, painting my nails and reading; many things I have not been able to do for a while. I have rekindled my love for reading and books which has made me realise how important writing is to me; over the past two years I realised I enjoy writing and I am good at it. So here I am writing a blog!
I figured that I would write about anything and everything I like, and probably things that are on my mind. I do not have any goals for this blog other than to hopefully keep writing, and maybe someone may read what I have to say.

So if you are reading, please bear with me as I have no idea how blogs work, how this is supposed to go and whatnot but I am learning.
