It’s been a little while since I last posted on here but
starting uni has been quite busy and very stressful. Nonetheless I am still
here and excited to post about my life.
It’s getting to that time of year when we all treat
ourselves (or more commonly gorge ourselves) with the delicacy that is
chocolate! I thought that this post was due as I have already scoffed down my
first chocolate bunny (a Cadbury Marvellous Creations Bunny with popping candy…
YUM!). So I thought I’d share with you a few items that won’t make you feel so
guilty after enjoying their chocolaty goodness!
#1 Bourjois delice de soleil bronzer shade #12 for
fair/medium skin
This delectable chocolate scented bronzer is packed in a very
sleek and practical compact with a 360 degree rotating mirror and brush. While
I tend to opt for the real techniques contour brush instead, the product gives
the perfect amount of shimmer and colour for my skin tone. I can’t help but
smell the powder every time I use it, so this is a sure way to get your guilt
free chocolate fix.
#2 Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Body Scrub paired with the
Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze self-tanning moisturiser.
This pairing is a chocolate match made in heaven for your
body! The scrub has a delightful cocoa butter scent with the fantastic gritty
consistency of a body scrub. It is perfect for being used just before applying
the self-tanning moisturiser as it exfoliates your skin so that it is ready for
the moisturiser. I find that the self-tanning moisturiser delivers the best
results when a plain moisturiser is used first on areas such as the knees and
elbows to prevent those embarrassing fake tan marks. This moisturiser is great
because it allows you to build up the tan to your desired shade simply by
applying more or less often (I usually apply it every second day for a week).
#3 Beauticology White Chocolate Body Butter
This body butter comes from a little Beauticology gift pack
we were selling at work after Christmas time for half price so I couldn’t
resist! Although I’m not a big fan of white chocolate, this body butter smells
positively amazing! It smells quite similar to white chocolate but if it had to
be described another way I would say it smells of cocoa butter with a touch of
vanilla and musk. This is the perfect body butter for the weather in Australia
right now where winter is creeping up and it is starting to get colder.
I hope that whatever you choose to do to get your chocolate
fix this Easter; whether you eat mass amounts of chocolate, use your chocolaty
beauty/body items or curl up on the couch with a nice cup of hot chocolate and
read this blog post, that you allow yourself to enjoy this occasion and treat
yourself because you deserve it!
Happy Easter to all
Sayonara! xo
